Membership sites that let Dubai gyms sell, renew and manage plans online.

Codeeo delivers fitness membership website development in Dubai for gyms, clubs, studios and online training brands that want people to join and pay without visiting the front desk. A visitor compares plans, picks a branch, signs the membership terms, pays by card or Apple Pay, and receives a tax invoice and access details within minutes. Renewals, freezes, upgrades and cancellations then run through a member portal, so your staff spend their time on the gym floor rather than on paperwork.

The platform sits on your website and works alongside your club management or access control system. It handles the money and the membership record; the gym handles the training.

Built for
Gyms and multi branch clubs, boutique studios selling class packs and unlimited plans, women only clubs, and online coaching brands with members across Dubai and the wider UAE.
Typical timeline
Planned in discovery around your plan structure, payment provider approval and the systems the platform must talk to; provider onboarding is started early because it often sets the pace.
What you own
The platform code, the member database, your payment provider account and its stored payment tokens, all under contracts in your company's name.

What the platform includes

Everything between choosing a plan and renewing it.

Selling a gym membership online looks easy until the edge cases arrive. A member wants to freeze for six weeks over the summer while they travel. Another moves from a single branch plan to an all clubs plan halfway through a month. A corporate client wants twenty staff on one invoice. A card expires and the renewal fails on a Friday night. Each of these needs a rule, a screen and a record.

Fitness subscription website development in Dubai also has to work within UAE requirements: VAT invoices that satisfy the Federal Tax Authority, consumer protection rules on clear terms and cancellations, the e-commerce law under Federal Decree-Law 14 of 2023, and the UAE PDPL for member data. The capabilities below are what we build so those rules, and your own membership policies, are applied consistently every time someone joins or changes a plan.

Explain your project
  • Plan comparison and tiers

Clear plan pages for off peak, single branch, all branches, family, student, corporate and class pack options, with what each includes, the minimum term, the notice period and any joining conditions. The comparison is generated from the plan rules in the admin, so a change to a tier updates every page.

Visitors pick the right plan without calling to ask.

  • Online joining and digital contract

A short sign up flow: personal details, emergency contact, a health questionnaire where you require one, the membership terms shown in full and accepted with a recorded signature and timestamp. Members can sign in with email or, if your verification needs justify it, with UAE Pass.

Every member has a signed, dated agreement on file.

  • Recurring billing and payment integration

Fitness membership payment integration with a UAE payment gateway, using card tokenisation so monthly plans renew automatically, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. Annual plans can be paid upfront or, where you choose to offer it, split with Tabby or Tamara while your gym still receives the plan value from the provider.

Renewals happen on time without staff keying in card numbers.

  • Failed payments and recovery

When a renewal fails, the platform retries on a schedule you set, emails and messages the member with a secure link to update their card, and changes access status only after your grace period ends. Front desk staff see who is in arrears before the member reaches the turnstile. Messages are polite and specific, so a member with an expired card is not treated like one who has stopped paying.

Fewer lapsed memberships caused by an expired card.

  • Member portal

A secure account area where members see their plan, next renewal date and invoices, update their card, download a membership QR code, book guest passes, and request a freeze, an upgrade or a cancellation. Requests follow your rules and land in a staff queue where approval is needed.

Routine changes stop queuing at reception.

  • Freezes, transfers and cancellations

Rules for how long a membership can be paused, how often, and whether a reason or document is needed; transfers between branches with fair adjustment of the billing date; and cancellations that respect the notice period shown at sign up. Every change leaves an audit trail. Summer travel and Ramadan are the busiest periods for freeze requests in Dubai, so these rules are worth agreeing carefully before launch.

Policies are applied the same way for every member.

  • VAT invoices and receipts

Tax invoices issued automatically for each payment with your TRN, the correct VAT treatment and sequential numbering, ready to export to your accounting system. Credit notes are produced for refunds. We also keep the invoice data structured for the UAE e-invoicing programme as its requirements are confirmed.

Finance can reconcile memberships without manual invoices.

  • Members only content

Optional gated areas for on demand workouts, training plans, nutrition guides or recorded masterclasses, visible only to members of the right tier. This lets a studio sell a digital plan to people who travel often or leave Dubai over the summer.

Members get value from their plan even when they cannot come in.

  • Corporate and family accounts

A company account that holds several staff memberships on one invoice, with a contact who adds and removes employees, and family plans where one payer manages linked members, including minors whose access rules differ.

Group sales stop living in spreadsheets.

  • Access control and club system sync

Membership status pushed to your access control or club management system, so a paid member's QR code or card opens the turnstile and a frozen or unpaid one does not. Where your system has an API, the sync runs automatically; where it does not, we agree a safe export routine.

Payment status and door access always agree.

Who this is for

Four membership models we build for in Dubai.

The platform depends on how you sell. A gym selling twelve month contracts has different risks from a studio selling class credits, and both differ from an online coach selling a monthly programme. In discovery we write down your current plans, policies and exceptions, including the ones staff handle informally, then decide which become rules in the platform and which stay as manual approvals. Policies that only exist in a manager's head are the most common cause of disputes, so writing them down is often useful before a line of code is written.

01

Clubs with several branches

Multi branch operators across Dubai need plans tied to one branch or all of them, transfers when a member moves from Dubai Marina to Mirdif, and reporting per branch. We build a fitness paid membership platform that knows which branch earned each sale and renewal, and shows managers their own numbers without exposing the rest of the group.

Branch level reporting is usually the feature finance asks for first.

02

Studios selling credits and unlimited plans

Reformer, cycling and yoga studios usually sell class packs with an expiry and an unlimited monthly plan. The platform handles credit balances, expiry rules, rollovers if you allow them and upgrades from a pack to unlimited, and passes entitlement to the booking software so members can reserve classes there.

03

Women only clubs and private members gyms

Clubs with restricted membership need application steps before payment, approval by staff, and careful handling of photos and personal details. We build an apply, approve then pay flow, keep identity documents in restricted storage, and limit which staff can see member information.

Member data access is limited by role and logged.

04

Online coaching and hybrid brands

Coaches who sell monthly programmes to clients in Dubai and abroad need recurring billing, gated content and a simple portal more than a turnstile integration. We keep the stack lean, support several currencies where your payment provider allows it, and make sure members can cancel online as easily as they joined. Programme content can be released week by week, so a member who joins mid month starts at week one rather than in the middle of a block.

Questions about selling memberships online.

Plans, online joining, recurring payments, a member portal and the admin behind them.

A typical first release includes plan pages, a sign up flow with digital terms, card and Apple Pay payments with automatic renewals, failed payment handling, VAT invoices, a member portal for freezes and upgrades, and a staff admin. Gated content, corporate accounts and access control sync are added when your model needs them. We agree the exact list in discovery and write it into the scope. What drives cost is mostly the number of plan types and exceptions, the integrations with club and accounting systems, the languages and the size of any member migration, rather than the number of pages.
