Booking sites where Dubai residents choose a slot, pay and get a technician.

Codeeo delivers home maintenance booking website development in Dubai for companies that want customers to book and pay online instead of waiting for a call back. Residents pick a service, see real availability for their community, choose a time window, pay a deposit or the full fixed price, and receive a tax invoice. Your coordinators see every booking assigned to the right technician and van, with cancellations, refunds and extra work handled inside the same system.

This is a commerce build: the money and the calendar. It sits on your existing website or replaces its booking pages, and it is designed around the way your dispatch team already plans the day, so moving online does not mean changing how your technicians work.

What the booking platform does

From service menu to settled invoice, in one flow.

Online booking for home maintenance is harder than booking a haircut. A job has a trade, a property type, a location, sometimes a building that needs an access permit, and an uncertain duration. Some work can be sold at a fixed price, such as a split AC service per unit. Other work needs an inspection first, then a quote, then a second payment. The platform has to handle both without confusing the customer or the office.

We design the rules with your operations lead before writing any code: which services are fixed price, which take a call out deposit, how long each one blocks a technician, which skills and vans each needs, and how far ahead slots open. Those rules then drive everything the resident sees on screen. Below are the parts we usually build, in the order a booking moves through them, from the menu a resident first sees to the report your finance manager reads at month end.

Explain your project
  • Priced service menu

Services shown as products with clear prices or deposits: AC service per unit, water heater replacement, socket installation, a handyman hour. Options change the total as the resident selects them, such as number of AC units or ceiling height. Inspection based jobs show the call out charge and explain that a quote follows on site.

Customers know what they will pay before they commit.

  • Availability by area and skill

Slots come from real technician calendars filtered by trade, by the community the resident enters and by travel time between jobs. A plumber based near Al Quoz is not offered for a back to back job in Dubai Silicon Oasis. Your dispatchers can block slots, add capacity or close areas in seconds.

Bookings match what your team can actually deliver.

  • Address, building and access details

Residents choose their community and building from a list or a map pin, then add villa or apartment number, parking notes and gate instructions. Towers that require a contractor access permit from building management are flagged, so the office can arrange it before the visit and the technician is not turned away at the lobby.

Fewer wasted trips to buildings that will not let the van in.

  • Checkout, deposits and payment holds

Card payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay through a UAE payment gateway such as Network International, Checkout.com or Stripe, with 3D Secure. For larger jobs, Tabby or Tamara can let residents split the cost where you have a merchant agreement with them. Saved cards are tokenised by the gateway, never stored on your servers. Per service, you decide whether to take the full price, a deposit or a card authorisation captured after the visit.

Payment works the way Dubai residents expect to pay.

  • On site quotes and extra payments

When a technician finds more work, the office sends an itemised quote by link. The resident approves and pays it online, and the booking updates automatically. In rented homes, the quote can go to a landlord or agent for approval and payment instead of the tenant.

Extra work is approved and paid before the tools come out.

  • Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds

A cancellation policy written in plain language, shown before payment and enforced by the system: free changes up to a cut off, a fee after it, refunds back to the original card. Residents reschedule from a link in their confirmation, and every refund is logged with a reason.

Policy is applied the same way every time.

  • Reminders and arrival updates

Confirmation, day before reminder and on the way message by email, SMS or WhatsApp Business templates. Reminders include access instructions, parking notes and what to prepare, such as clearing space around an indoor AC unit. A short feedback request follows the visit.

Technicians arrive to homes that are ready for them.

  • VAT invoices and receipts

Each payment produces a tax invoice with your TRN, VAT shown separately and a sequential number, built to FTA requirements and ready to adapt for the UAE e-invoicing programme as its rules settle. Invoices sync to your accounting system so finance is not retyping bookings.

Finance reconciles payments without chasing paperwork.

  • Recurring plan subscriptions

Annual or quarterly maintenance plans sold online with recurring billing. Preventive visits are booked from the plan allowance, renewals are charged automatically with notice beforehand, and members see discounted prices for extra work in the same checkout.

Plans renew without a sales call every year.

  • Dispatch and finance admin

One screen for coordinators: today's bookings by van and technician, unpaid balances, pending quotes, refunds and building permit notes. Reports show revenue by service and community, average booking value and cancellation rate, with role based access for dispatch, finance and management.

The office runs the day from one view.

Who this is for

Four maintenance operators who move bookings online.

Taking payment at booking changes how a maintenance company works. It cuts no shows and phone tag, but it means prices, policies and capacity must be clear before launch. We help you decide what to sell online first. Often that is the simplest, highest volume job, with complex work kept as a paid inspection. These are the situations we see most in Dubai, and each one starts with a different first release rather than the same feature list.

01

An AC company drowning in summer calls

Between the hottest months your phones never stop, and half the calls are residents asking for a price and a slot. Selling AC servicing per unit online, with real capacity by area, takes much of that load off reception. Emergency repairs stay on the phone line, while planned servicing and coil cleaning move to self service with payment up front.

Start with the job residents already know how to describe.

02

A handyman brand selling fixed price tasks

Mounting a television, assembling furniture, replacing a tap: tasks with a predictable duration and price. A product style menu with options and add ons works well here, and the platform can bundle several small tasks into one visit so the technician's time is used properly and the basket value rises.

Bundled small jobs make each van trip worth more.

03

A contract provider moving plans online

Your annual plans are sold by phone and renewed by invoice, and renewals slip. Online plan purchase with recurring billing, plan based visit booking and automatic renewal notices keep members active. Members pay less for extra work, which gives non members a reason to sign up from the same checkout.

Recurring billing needs a clear renewal notice and an easy way to cancel.

04

A property services firm working with landlords

Many of your jobs are for tenants, but the landlord or agent pays. The platform lets a tenant book, sends the quote or deposit request to the owner for approval, and keeps the tenant informed. Agencies get monthly statements per unit instead of a pile of separate card receipts.

The person paying is not always the person at home.

Six stages to a booking platform that takes payment from day one.

  1. 01Rules workshop in DubaiA session at our Dubai office with your operations, finance and dispatch leads to fix services, prices, durations, areas, deposits and the cancellation policy before any design starts.
  2. 02Payment and tax setupChoosing the gateway, opening the merchant account in your name, confirming Tabby or Tamara eligibility if wanted, and agreeing invoice format with your accountant.
  3. 03Booking flow designScreens for service choice, address, slot, checkout and confirmation, tested with real residents so the booking can be finished on a phone in a couple of minutes.
  4. 04Build and integrationsScheduling engine, checkout, refunds, reminders, admin and connections to your accounting or job management software, built and tested against the agreed rules.
  5. 05Live payment testingReal card, Apple Pay and refund tests in production with small transactions, staff training for coordinators and finance, then a soft launch with a limited service menu.
  6. 06Tuning after launchReviewing abandoned checkouts, cancellation reasons and slot fill rates each month, then adjusting prices shown, slot rules and the order of steps.

Technology

What we build this with.

The stack depends on volume and how custom the scheduling must be. Simpler menus can run on a WooCommerce or Shopify base with booking extensions; complex dispatch rules usually need a custom Laravel or Next.js platform with its own scheduling engine. Either way the payment gateway, hosting and code repository sit in accounts your company owns.

Questions about online booking and payment for maintenance work.

It depends on how many services you sell online and how complex scheduling is.

A first release with a short fixed price menu, one gateway and email reminders is much quicker than a platform with area based dispatch, plan subscriptions, landlord approvals and accounting sync. We fix the scope in the rules workshop and write the timeline with milestones. Opening the merchant account can take a while, so we start that early, alongside design, rather than leaving it until the build is finished.
